When Time Magazine tries to be Readers' Digest

We at A&G vent in most vocal vociferousness about how truly Horrid American corporate news media is.  Say what you want about British papers being full of trivial celeb gossip and other nonsense, but when it comes to their business/finance sections, most UK papers do a spot-on job of covering what's going on in the global economy.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.  When its a Time magazine cover, it tends to say quite more.  Here are real time magazine covers for the same issue dates, the upcoming February 20, 2012 issue and the December 5, 2011 issue.  The first cover is what US subscribers received.  The other covers were what subscribers in the rest of the world saw.

Amazing how dumbed-down the news media tries to keep its readers.
